Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will take full responsibility for customer technical requirements and transform them into robust, efficient solutions. You will develop advanced Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for Power Supplies, Battery Chargers, and Battery Management Systems that meet real-world needs. You will create, simulate, and test complex mixed-signal circuits using tools like SPICE and MATLAB. You will drive designs through rigorous qualification testing to meet industry standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461. You will lead Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR) to ensure the design meets technical, cost, and schedule objectives while aligning with stakeholder expectations. You will resolve challenges in existing products while delivering reliable, next-generation solutions. You will use cutting-edge lab tools to troubleshoot, validate, and perfect your designs. You will develop detailed test plans, reports, and acceptance procedures to ensure your designs excel in performance and reliability. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to production.
Responsibilities
+ Transform customer technical requirements into robust, efficient solutions.
+ Develop advanced PCBs for power supplies, battery chargers, and battery management systems.
+ Create, simulate, and test mixed-signal circuits using SPICE and MATLAB.
+ Drive designs through rigorous qualification testing to meet industry standards.
+ Lead Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews to meet technical objectives.
+ Resolve challenges in existing products while delivering next-generation solutions.
+ Use lab tools to troubleshoot, validate, and perfect designs.
+ Develop detailed test plans, reports, and acceptance procedures.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to production.
Essential Skills
+ Hands-on experience in circuit design with a focus on power electronics.
+ Expertise in analog and digital design, preferred skills in PWM control, Power MOSFETs, and IGBT technologies.
+ Ability to own designs from initial schematics to final product testing.
+ Familiarity with EMI/EMC principles and mitigation strategies.
+ Proficiency in lab equipment to troubleshoot and validate designs.
+ Experience designing to meet industry standards like DO-160 and MIL-STD-704.
+ Strong understanding of simulation tools (MATLAB, SPICE).
+ Minimum of 6 years experience in circuit design with a focus on power electronics.
+ Minimum of 3-4 years experience in analog and digital design.
+ Full product lifecycle experience.
+ Minimum of 3-4 years experience with EMI/EMC principles.
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
+ Ability to follow ITAR regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ C/C++ programming experience.
+ Experience managing different priorities within the role.
+ Cross-functional experience.
+ Interest in joining a smaller aerospace company.
+ Master's Degree.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
I have the benefots guide, they have 9 company Holidays and up to 2 weeks of PTO after their first year.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Tempe,AZ.
