Senior Electrical Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW
Our client, a global EPCM within the Mining Industry headquartered in Australia, is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer.
Location: Perth CBD
Project: Hope Downs 1 Sustaining
Duration: 6-months initial casual contract

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing and overseeing the production of detailed electrical engineering deliverables including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, calculations, technical reports, datasheets, tender documentation, budgets and schedules. Undertaking and reviewing protection coordination, arc flash hazard assessments and defining mitigating solutions. Direct and coordinate the workshare electrical engineers, designers and technical personnel in the execution of the project. Proactively seek an understanding of the safety hazards and risks (including HAZIDs/HAZOPs) associated with the asset lifecycle of the designed product, plant or structure; be responsible for action and close out where relevant. KEY REQUIREMENTS: 7+ years' experience, with some of that ideally in an EPCM/ESP environment Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, accredited by National Engineering body at level of Professional Engineer Experience across all phases of project delivery from study to execution HV Distribution experience
