ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our thriving team at our Clayton office and seize an exciting opportunity as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Distribution). With growing project demand, we're seeking a talented professional ready to make a meaningful impact. You'll report directly to the Technical Services Manager and collaborate with a dynamic, agile team that values both stability and innovation.
This is more than just a design role; it's a launchpad into leadership. You’ll take the lead on complex electrical distribution projects across Victoria, including the design of overhead and underground networks up to 66kV, substations, and street lighting. With real succession planning in place, this is an ideal role for someone confident in their abilities and ready to step up into senior leadership.
Your day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Contribute to the successful coordination of design team activities and projects.Design work, including overhead/underground lines and substations up to 66kV across all Victorian distribution networks, street lighting and distribution asset relocations.Preparation of Tenders and Quotations.Participated in peer reviews and provided project direction.Opportunity to work with NEARA, GPS and LIDAR technologies.

Bachelor's or Diploma of Electrical Engineering (advantageous but not required).Deep knowledge of VIC electrical distribution networks, including URD, sub-transmission, and public lightingEstablished consultancy experience to tackle the challenges in overhead and underground design projects relating to the power industry.Proficient working knowledge of software programs such as AutoCAD and/or NEARA.Project management background highly regarded – especially if you’re ready to step into broader leadershipOUR OFFER
