This includes support for Air, Water & Wastewater, Soil, Tanks and Waste compliance with EPA/NJDEP and J&J requirements. + Prepare and submit EHS regulatory agency applications, permits, and reports (e.g. Community Right to Know, Biennial Waste Reporting, etc.) to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards. + Provide leadership and support for the campus ISO 14001 certification and environmental management system including EHS program reviews, Assurance Audit process, lab inspections, and GEMBA walks. + Provide support for the campus safety programs including ergonomics, hazard identification and risk assessment, training management at facility including R&D and GMP areas. + Perform investigations for good saves (near misses), environmental incidents, property events, workplace injuries and incidents; track corrective actions to closure. **Qualifications** **Education:** + A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or another technical field is required. **Experience and Skills:** **Required:** + 3+ years of EH&S experience. + Experience in building, leading, supervising and maintaining EH&S programs. + Knowledge of federal and state EH&S regulations. + Experience with NJDEP and EPA air permitting + Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems **Preferred:** + Certifications such as a Professional Engineer, Associate Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist. + 40-hr HAZWOPER training + RCRA and DOT training **Other:** + Requires up to 10% domestic travel.
