The opportunityJoin our Non-Malignant Hematology (NMH) team—an international group of scientists advancing next-generation therapies. We’re seeking a creative, expert scientist to drive lab investigations, support our portfolio, and bring innovative targets from discovery to the clinic.
These responsibilities capture a portion of what your work will look like:
You lead or contribute to early drug discovery projects through to clinical proof-of-concept in NMH.
You design, execute, and interpret complex preclinical studies; guide associates and postdocs as needed.
You manage multiple studies simultaneously in a collaborative, cross-functional research environment.
You analyze data using robust statistical methods and present findings for publications and reviews.
You support disease area strategy and drive innovation through internal initiatives and external partnerships.
You serve as a scientific expert, maintaining strong communication and a network in emerging NMH research.
Who you areYou hold a PhD in Life Sciences—such as cellular or molecular biology, pharmacology, immunology, or hematology—with at least five years of postdoctoral experience. Your scientific expertise is backed by impactful publications and successful collaborations. With a strong background in hemostasis, thrombosis, and hemoglobinopathies, you bring n vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo models understanding. You communicate scientific concepts clearly, both in internal teams and at external meetings, and build effective relationships across disciplines. Fluent in English, you also demonstrate excellent data management and meticulous record-keeping.
