Senior Director of Pricing Strategy

The Senior Director of Pricing Strategy will be pivotal in GDIT’s mission to deliver value-driven solutions to government clients. This leader will shape strategic pricing initiatives and partner with capture teams on highly competitive, multi-billion-dollar procurements. This role is responsible for leading our strategic pricing function and providing expert direction and oversight to ensure winning, compliant, and profitable pricing solutions. This high-profile position involves close collaboration with both division-level and corporate growth leadership and reports to the Vice President of Pricing.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Lead a dedicated team of experts responsible for developing and executing cost and pricing strategies, including in-depth research, analysis, and advanced cost modeling to support cost/price proposals for high-priority enterprise opportunitiesInterface with executive management and closely collaborate with Business Development, Capture, and Proposal Teams to develop strategic pricing models, resolve issues, drive pricing win strategies, implement actionable solutions, and provide expert guidanceOversee comprehensive pricing analyses, integrating competitive intelligence and market research to optimize pricing strategies, and support robust business case and risk assessments for large, complex bids, including managed service solutionsDrive procurement shaping and win strategies by developing compelling briefings, proposal materials, reusable pricing artifacts, financial models, and related materials that position GDIT to winFoster collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and objectivesConduct thorough post-award evaluations to assess assumptions, methodologies, and results, identifying gaps and opportunities to enhance future resultsImplement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance pricing processes and outcomes.Facilitate change by seeking opportunities to transform or improve systems, processes, and model adaptabilityDevelop and mentor the strategic pricing team in financial/pricing acumen, leadership, and stewardship that support GDIT’s core values.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree plus 15+ years of related experience; In lieu of degree, 19+ years of related experience is requiredExperience in a supervisory or management capacityProven ability to lead highly effective pricing organizations that have successfully bid and won all contract types (FP, T&M, CR)Proven expertise in developing, leading, and winning large, complex solutions-based bids in the Federal Government services marketExperience with the Federal Acquisition lifecycle and how it integrates with business development and capture processesDeep understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and its impact on opportunity pursuits and proposal evaluationStrong financial acumen and ability to partner with Business Operations on bid-versus-execution strategiesUnderstanding of emerging technology trends in the Federal Market and how they impact pricing strategiesWorking knowledge of technical and cost estimation processes and the importance of solid estimates in proposed solutionsDemonstrated experience collaborating across functional areas (Ops, BD, Capture, Contracts, Finance, etc.) to deliver competitive, compliant, and profitable bidsStrong ability to build and work in a team environmentDemonstrated ability to act as a trusted financial partner to senior leadership across a large business baseUS Person requiredLocation: Hybrid to Falls Church, Virginia. To be considered candidates will follow a hybrid schedule requiring on-site presence at least three (3) days per week in Falls Church.
