**Senior Director & General Manager, Flex Financial Europe** **FLSA status: Exempt Department: Flex Financial** **Reports to: VP/ GM, Flex Financial** **Position summary/General Purpose:** Role requires an experienced, results-driven General Manager to oversee the Flex Financial organization in Europe. The candidate will be responsible for leading the overall strategy, planning, and execution for the organization including the sales team and its supporting operations. The focus of the Flex Financial organization is to provide sales enablement to the Stryker salesforce in Europe making it easier for them to achieve the business objectives of their respective commercial business units. **Position** **Responsibilities:** + Leadership and performance management of Flex Financial Europe team. + Drive topline sales growth through effective sales programs and sales execution monitoring at the regional, country and individual territory and account levels. + Attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent at Flex Financial. + Drive continued growth and expansion of Flex Financial in Europe. + Responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of Flex Financial strategic plan. + Be a culture champion for Flex driving employee engagement through visible leadership and team engagement. + Develop strong collaborative relationships with Stryker Sales Leaders that result in mutually beneficial partnerships in support of Stryker sales objectives. + Support RFMs and Sales Reps on sales calls with customers in the field solving problems through a consultative approach, operating with honesty and integrity, and providing a highly responsive and unsurpassed level of customer service. + Analyze and interpret market trends and customer needs to identify new Flex Financial Europe program opportunities to support Stryker business units and their sales teams. **Essential skills and** **experience:** _Education:_ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related discipline _Experience:_ + Must have at least 10 years of professional work experience + At least 3-5 years of proven sales experience + Demonstrated leadership ability _Other Essential Skills:_ + Superior responsiveness and a service orientation + Strong financial acumen + Executivepresence + Strategic vision + Able to partner across the organization **Role** **Qualifications:** + Must be able to function as a member of the Stryker Flex Financial Leadership Team. + Demonstrated ability to deliver sales objectives for Stryker Flex Financial Europe. + Must be able to recruit, develop and retain an engaged team of talented equipment finance sales professionals. + Leadership competencies that support a growth mindset and vision for the Flex Financial business in Europe. + Ability to lead and drive a winning, performance-based culture. + Fluent in English, additional European language would be an asset. **Reporting to this position:** Regional Finance Managers across European countries as well as Sr Manager Finance and Operations. **Physical demands and work environment:** The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
