Unlock your potential! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Senior Director of Clinical Resource Analysis provides leadership to effectively support the integration of clinical supply chain into HCA service line to align with, support and help integrate a diverse group of stakeholders to achieve clinical excellence. The director will facilitate work with all HCA established service lines to collaborate on effective strategies for product review, physician integration, and appropriate resource utilization. The role will analyze quality, financial and operational data to identify opportunities to create effective and efficient processes to support service line growth, financial resiliency and improved provider and patient experience. The role also collaborates with divisional leadership, along with other corporate teams, to grow and optimize the performance of HCA’s Service Lines. **What will you do in this role:** Leadership + Meet and build relationships across HCA business lines to align strategies related to clinical supply utilization and margin improvement. + Exhibits leadership qualities that elicit the trust of their subordinates, peers, and supervisors. + Attends to the needs and feelings of others to develop effective working relationships with direct reports and others; relates easily to people; inspires and works well with others. + Supports development of corporate clinical resource team providing direction, coaching and contributing to performance appraisals. + Works in collaboration with Supply Chain Division CEOs to drive appropriate alignment with division service line teams and CVAT process. + Communicates HealthTrust vision and values so that their employees understand how their work is connected to the organization + Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to develop tools and resources to support service line growth and improvement. To include collaboration with OSG, COG, Physician and Provider Relations, Strategic Pricing and Analytics, Decision Support, Physician Services. + Leads a collaborative Corporate HCA Clinical Value Analysis process/committee through alignment across key service lines in divisions and at corporate + Assess strategic influences and industry patterns to develop and implement an aligned annual strategic plan with key service line leads. + Assimilates information from a variety of sources, able to analyze data, make decisions and executes a course of action which may include HealthTrust contracts and supply improvement ideas generated from the facilities. + Serves as an HCA representative on HealthTrust Clinical Advisory Boards and coordinates HCA’s other clinical representatives on the boards to provide a cohesive HCA strategy throughout the contracting process. Customer Service + Creates confidence in internal and external customers, committed to improving customer satisfaction and sets achievable customer expectations. + Supports customers through maintaining the Value Analysis database to ensure new technology reviews are kept updated and posted timely. + Participates in key service line meetings at both corporate and division to determine operational, strategic and clinical opportunities. Collaborate on development of action plans and mitigating strategies related to high cost, service line specific supplies. + Coordinates the development and implementation of educational opportunities related to evidence-based utilization of products, the value analysis process and relevant service line information. Finds and utilizes the expertise of participants to enhance educational opportunities. + Builds, collaborates and maintains strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders within HealthTrust, HCA PSG, OSG and COG leadership and field supply chain leadership and staff to identify and address the customers’ needs and ensure overall business agendas are aligned. + Assists in onboarding and education of supply chain leaders, clinical resource directors and other HCA customers on the clinical value analysis process. Financial and Clinical Data + Demonstrates financial acumen which includes: + Interpreting utilization and spend data to identify opportunities for improvement. + Review monthly enterprise financial reports to determine negative and positive variances on key service line product categories and understand drivers to determine action plans and mitigating strategies + Manages projects within scope, time and budget. + Collaborates with organizations to track and analyze financial data. + Provides expense savings enhancements to include national product formularies, category standardizations, or other savings opportunities. + Develops standardized documents, processes, and calculations for use by the clinical resource team to quantify supply savings solutions. + Collaborates with analytics resources to create dashboards and reports that align to business goals to drive action Execution + Identifies, develops and supports Financial Resiliency initiatives through collaboration with service line leads to drive support and adoption. + Works with division supply chain teams to execute on clinical service line agendas incorporating cost, quality and outcomes. + Drives clinical supply expense improvement through the development and deployment of standardized toolkits, processes, and assessments. + Demonstrates an understanding of project management methodologies which include but are not limited to: common processes, practices and tools associated with project management. + Guides multiple projects and team members simultaneously in a fast-paced environment that yields measurable and sustainable results. + Defines a vision, identifies milestones of success, identifies current gaps, determines with whom to work and partner, sets actionable goals, and consistently achieves those goals. General Knowledge/Competencies + Provides effective communications which includes verbal and good listening, writing, and presentation skills to a variety of stakeholders from senior executives to staff in a matrix environment. + Demonstrates the ability to operate within the organization’s formal and informal structures, builds relationships across departments, is appropriately diplomatic, understands orders roles and perspectives, can sell projects and ideas across the organization. + Demonstrates knowledge and expertise within the Value Analysis in healthcare. + Applies strong data analysis skills to translate into an actionable plan, with strategic objectives. + Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills which includes understanding the issues, able to simply and process complex issues, understanding the differences between critical details and unimportant facts, can make difficult decisions, uses consensus when possible, and communicates those decisions to others. + Demonstrates the ability to manage conflict resolution by using common approaches and facilitation techniques to lead teams to alignment and high-performance levels. + Serve as the external face for the company and present at industry events as needed. + Practices and adheres to the Code of Conduct philosophy, mission and vision statements. **What qualifications will you need:** + Bachelor’s degree in business, Health Administration, Nursing, or Pharmacy is preferred + Associate degree in Cardiovascular technology or related field required + Will consider a graduate of a Professional School of Nursing with related experiences in Value Analysis. + Graduate degree is highly preferred at master’s level such as an MSN, MBA, MHA, MS Pharmacy, or PharmD. + A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a health care-related role with experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified required. + Previous experience in healthcare service line management, supply chain, value analysis, clinical supply expense management, or sourcing preferred + Previous HCA experience preferred + Demonstrated, successful project management experience with coordination and measurement of project deliverables required. + Advance computer skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required + Clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
