Key Responsibilities
Align resources to drive Vendor Management program execution across client groups and communicates results. Provide day-to-day leadership of team to address and manage issues/projects leveraging metrics to drive execution and accountability. Identify opportunities in vendor management practices across business units and oversees plans to address gaps. Provide thought leader and recognized SME within Vendor Management related to process/tools, issue resolution strategies, and vendor relationships. Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies within the team. Be seen as a subject matter expert in a specific business function and related vendor set/industry. Stay current on trends/best practices/regulatory requirements in the industry and ensure alignment with Ameriprise and Enterprise Vendor Management strategy.Manage a team of resources in the US and/or India. Arrange formal training or other experiences to foster learning and development. Develop team and personal goals. Conduct performance reviews of the staff. Drive and lead senior leadership discussions within Procurement to review and set organizational strategy and goals, operational direction, and talent development.

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $137,400 - $185,600 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
