Senior Director - Ambulatory Operations

As Senior Director of Ambulatory Operations as Indian River Hospital, you will manage the day-to-day business and clinical operations of the clinical service lines across assigned Centers, Medical Office Buildings, and Specialty Practices within Ambulatory Operations. You will provide direction to promote the vision and hold responsibility for the implementation of strategies to support the business functions and patient care activities in collaboration with Clinical Centers and the Executive leadership team. In this role, you will have eleven direct reports as well as 182 in-direct reports, all of which are in clerical roles. The ideal caregiver in this role should present healthcare management experience along with strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and time management skills. This position offers an excellent avenue in which to enhance your skills even further and interact with some of the best caregivers in the field. **A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM - 4:30PM.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Ensure all key operational targets and regulatory requirements are met. + Direct the development and implementation of business plans for new or revised ventures and/or expansion of services and programs that may include the acquisition of other practices and/or services to include facilities as well as personnel. + Identify performance improvement and integration opportunities across service lines and facilities and partner to translate into realized efficiencies. + Optimize employee experience to retain engaged workforce focused on patient's experience. + Facilitate process improvements to achieve optimal experience for patients, families and referring physicians. + Integrate with operational support services, finance, ITD, human resources and marketing functions. + Ensure development and completion of the budgetary process for departments as related to annual operating and capital budgets, with respect to expenses, revenue and fee schedules and ongoing financial monitors and reports. + Serve on appropriate committees and other groups as the administrative representative of the respective departments and disseminates information from other sources to the departments. + Promote and maintain harmonious inter-intra departmental relationships and represent the departments in coordinating administrative and operational activities which interface with other departments. + Develop strategy and growth business/marketing plans in collaboration with Clinical Centers and Executive leadership. + Lead team to ensure goals are met and deploy initiatives to achieve as needed. + Deliver best-in-class efficient and patient-centered services. + Ensure patient experience achieves desired benchmarks for outstanding service. + Direct implementation of strategic objectives towards overall plan. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance or equivalent + Ten years of professionally and functionally relevant experience inclusive of five years of demonstrated management experience + Experience in a health care environment, preferably large medical practice or hospital setting + Demonstrated experience and responsibility for recruitment, budgeting and strategic development with a strong track record of success + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Strong organizational, negotiation, collaboration and time management skills + Ability to effectively communicate to a large, diverse audience Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Master's Degree **Physical Requirements:** + Requires frequent sitting, computer entry and normal or corrected vision with manual dexterity sufficient to perform work on a personal computer. + Requires the ability to walk to attend meetings and function in a stressful environment. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures. **Pay Range** Minimum Annual Salary: $112,110.00 Maximum Annual Salary: $170,955.00 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
