Senior Director, Technical Operations, Commercialization and Quality, Safety and Environment - Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea
**Reporting To:** Vice President, Technical, Innovation & Supply Chain - ASEAN & South Pacific OU **Location:** Sydney, Australia The Senior Director of Technical Operations is a strategic leadership role and a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing technical operations, commercialization, Quality & Food Safety, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) of ANZ, Papua New Guinea & Pacific Islands. This role provides executive-level direction and serves as the primary technical operations contact for Operations partners and Bottlers. The Senior Director drives cost efficiency, productivity, and regulatory compliance in collaboration with the SRA of the assigned market, while supporting the company's long-term business strategy (ABP/LRP). The role also leads new packaging and product development/commercialization initiatives and ensures full market compliance with Quality, Food Safety, and HSE requirements in accordance with KORE policies. **KEY WORKING PARAMETERS** Scope, & Impact: + Provide technical leadership to Operations and bottling partners across Technical Operations, Commercialization, Quality & Food Safety, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) + Act as the execution leader for OU TI&SC strategies at Operations and market levels, ensuring alignment with OU TI&SC priorities and business plans (ABP & LRP) + Drive operational performance outcomes, including productivity, commercialization execution, asset reliability, process efficiency, continuity of supply, QFS and HSE performance, in collaboration with OU Supply Chain and other T&&SC functions + Partner with OU Supply Chain on annual capacity and infrastructure planning, ensuring technical readiness to meet demand and growth plans without duplicating Supply Chain ownership. + Ensure full compliance with KORE policies, regulatory requirements, and company standards across all technical and QFS & HSE domains. + Serve as the primary technical escalation point for bottlers, leading issue resolution, incident management, and corrective actions. + Lead execution of new product and packaging commercialization in partnership with Supplier, CPS, bottlers, other TI&SC functions and Operations functions. + Contribute to business continuity and contingency planning at market level in alignment with OU Supply Chain and bottling partners. + Build and sustain system capabilities across people, processes, technology, and infrastructure to support long-term, sustainable growth. + Actively engage and develop teams by fostering a culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, and continuous feedback, while building a strong pipeline of future technical and cross‑functional leaders. **KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERS** **Work Focus** + Serves as the OU TI&SC technical authority for bottlers at assigned market, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations aligned with KORE, QFS, and HSE standards. + Executes OU TI&SC strategy at market level, delivering ABP/LRP commitments through disciplined commercialization, operational excellence, and continuity of supply. + Drives measurable improvements in productivity, asset reliability, and process efficiency in partnership with OU Supply Chain. Ensures technical readiness for capacity and infrastructure plans without duplicating Supply Chain ownership. + Leads issue escalation and incident management, ensuring rapid resolution, strong rootcause discipline, and prevention of recurrence. + Builds sustainable system capabilities and develops a strong pipeline of technical and crossfunctional leaders. **Communication Focus** + Communicates clear, concise, and businessrelevant technical guidance aligned to OU priorities. + Builds strong system partnerships with bottlers, OU TI&SC functions, Operations, CPS. + Proactively escalates risks affecting supply, quality, safety, or execution with factbased recommendations. + Demonstrates calm, credible leadership during critical events, reinforcing trust, accountability, and CocaCola values.
