Senior Director, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - M&A Governance, Enterprise & Regulatory Risk Management
Position Summary...Join Walmart as a Senior Director, M&A Governance, Ethics & Compliance on the Enterprise & Regulatory Risk Management team! The Enterprise & Regulatory Risk Management team partners with Global Governance, the business, and other functional teams to identify, assess, and help to mitigate risk across the company.

About the position...
This position is responsible for all aspects of Ethics & Compliance diligence related to equity transactions, including acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, and other forms of structured partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to support strategic growth at the Fortune 1.

In this role, you will serve as the lead for all elements of the M&A process for Ethics & Compliance, including actively engaging with Corporate Development, senior leaders, and subject matter experts across various compliance areas, businesses, and functional support areas across Walmart’s footprint of businesses and geographies.

What you'll do...Manage all pre- and post-acquisition Ethics & Compliance responsibilities, including pre-close diligence and post-close integration planning.Assess the current ethics and compliance programs of target entities to identify any potential gaps in controls, deficiencies in governing documents, or program execution issues, among others.In collaboration with Ethics & Compliance leaders and subject matter experts, work to begin implementation of Walmart’s Ethics & Compliance programs post-close and to align expectations around our Ethics & Compliance policies, ways of working, and company values.Along with Enterprise & Regulatory Risk Management leaders, report monthly to an M&A Committee, providing updates to senior executives, including the EVP of Global Governance, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary.Serve as valued leader on the Enterprise & Regulatory Risk Management team playing a key part of the team’s continued development of a comprehensive risk management program.Collaborate with other members of the Enterprise & Regulatory Risk Management team, colleagues across the enterprise, and senior leaders to identify emerging regulatory risks, potential strategic and operational risks, draw connections across teams and risks to develop a holistic risk profile, and help to drive forward risk-based discussions around strategy, mitigation plans, and strategic growth.  

What you’ll bring...

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 5 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 4 years’ supervisory experience. 5 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
