Senior Director, Senior Counsel

How You’ll Make an Impact   

Advise senior leaders and management on legal matters, ensuring compliance with laws and regulationsDraft, negotiate and review complex legal documents and contracts to secure Spectrum’s interestsManage claims, lawsuits and coordinate outside counsel to represent Spectrum in legal proceedingsOrganize and direct legal strategies, collaborating with attorneys, paralegals and business unitsPrepare and present analyses and summaries of complex legal issues to leadershipEvaluate and enhance existing policies, procedures and training related to legal and business practicesHire, train, supervise and develop legal staff, fostering professional growth and capability

Office environmentWillingness and ability to travel up to and sometimes exceed 25 percent of the time

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum   

Required Qualifications   

Education

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to State Bar in which Attorney practices

Experience   

7+ years of legal practice experience7+ years in designated area of legal expertise
