OverviewThe Senior Director, Purchasing & Trade is responsible for leading pharmaceutical procurement, inventory management, and buying strategy for the Amerita business. This role drives gross profit optimization through disciplined purchasing decisions, supplier strategy, and inventory control while ensuring consistent product availability and regulatory compliance.
This position leads a small, centralized purchasing team and partners closely with pharmacy operations, finance, and clinical leadership to align purchasing decisions with margin, growth, and patient care objectives.
This is a Remote opportunity. Applicants can reside anywhere within the Continental USA.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, or related field8–12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical purchasing, inventory management, or supply chainExperience managing vendor relationships and executing purchasing strategiesStrong analytical and financial acumen
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in infusion, specialty pharmacy, or healthcare supply chainKnowledge of drug pricing dynamics, wholesaler agreements, and GPO structuresExperience leading teams in a multi-site environmentExperience supporting audits, compliance initiatives, or internal controls.Knowledge of pharmacy inventory systems and ERP platforms.Prior exposure to loss prevention, inventory security, or controlled substance processes.
