To accelerate this journey, we are looking for a visionary Senior Director, Procurement to lead our global direct procurement organization and shape strategies that deliver valuable impact – driving business growth while contributing to a more sustainable future

 

As Senior Director of Procurement, you will report directly to the SVP of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Controls and be a key member of the leadership team. You will set the strategic direction for global category management across a direct spend of approximately €180 million. Leading a team of 40–45 professionals worldwide, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring supply resilience, driving cost optimization, and fostering supplier innovation. Beyond procurement, you will act as a strategic partner to Supply Chain, Operations, and R&D/Engineering, embedding procurement into business-critical decisions and enabling long-term value creation.

What You’ll Be Doing

Set the vision: Define and lead global procurement strategies that enable innovation, resilience, cost optimization, and growth.

Deliver measurable value: Own procurement KPIs, ensuring sustainable TCO savings and business impact.

Lead globally: Inspire and develop a high-performing leadership team across a diverse, international organization.

Secure resilience: Anticipate risks and strengthen supply continuity through dual sourcing, localization, and proactive mitigation.

Drive transformation: Lead procurement digitalization, data-driven decision making, and process excellence.

Build partnerships: Manage executive-level supplier relationships and partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver innovation and competitiveness.

Champion sustainability: Integrate ESG into sourcing strategies and drive our decarbonization roadmap, with a strong focus on Scope 3 emissions.

What We're Looking For

 

A Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.

6+ years of senior leadership experience managing managers and global teams in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.

A proven track record in driving large-scale cost savings, complex supplier negotiations, and managing high-spend categories.

Industry experience in industrial manufacturing, HVAC/refrigeration, or automotive is preferred.

Strong background in partnering with R&D/Engineering and Operations on product development and lifecycle management.

Advanced knowledge of procurement analytics, KPI pipelines, eSourcing, and SRM tools.

Demonstrated ability to shape long-term strategies, influence senior stakeholders, and inspire global teams
