Job Description Summary:

A successful Senior Director for Planning and Competitive Analysis is one who can efficiently manage and provide guidance and manage the Business Plan, Forecasting and Business Performance at the ASEAN & South Pacific (ASP) Operating Unit (OU) level, to drive alignment across multiple senior stakeholders, and to develop the key insights needed to inform strategic priorities, including:

Focus, Scope, & Impact:

Responsible for coordination, management and execution of OU monthly and quarterly planning and performance management processes

End to end monthly planning process: Proactively lead the cross-functional/region facilitation and development of monthly business review at the OU levelProviding management support across the OU regarding monthly processes in areas such as deep-dive analytics, objective setting, metrics tracking, leading team meetings, and preparing presentationsEffectively support leadership team on performance routines with Center including delivering quarterly deep dive document, monthly temperature council performance document with quality insightsOversight of Volume Forecasting; develop and implement standard model for the OUAnalyze forecasts, develop and discuss insights with stakeholders, and plan takeawaysReport volume and system NSRs on a weekly basis for metric tracking

Lead overall OU Annual Business Planning (ABP) process and deliverables through coordination among different functions

Design, align and implement ABP process for the entire OUOrchestra ABP process and give clear guidance to franchise and function teams in every milestoneWork closely with Franchise Units and functions to support the development and integration of OU annual business planDeliver OU ABP whitepaper and PPTs to CenterSupport leadership team in ABP presentations and documents needed

Lead industry estimate, market share target setting, regular tracking and outlook forecast at OU level with coordination with franchise unit and strategy team

Lead annual industry estimate process, coordinate with franchise unit and strategy team to discuss, review and align industry/The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) submissionLead industry and TCCC forecast in Long Rang Planning (LRP) and ABP with coordination with franchise unit and strategy team; In charge of LRP redbook industry and market share submissionEstablish effective process to track and review market share performance, generate insights, and facilitate discussions to drive action plansImplement consistent approach across OU to forecast market share based on current performance and future outlook

Monitor macroeconomics, external operating environment, and competitive landscape, and develop insights to be factored into strategic and business planning recommendations and action plans

Macro and external operating environment: monitor on a regular basis and provide insights on trends, implications and recommendationsMonitor key competitor (Non-Alcoholic Ready-to-Drink (NARTD)/Non RTD) and key player (within the ecosystem) profile and intelligence to support strategy and business developmentProfit Pool: Develop comprehensive competitor and industry profit pool by category and by channel to identify threats and opportunities to TCCC annually; Compile profit pool evolution analysis to come up insights on category opportunity and competitor landscape and feed into strategic business planning

Lead planning team to drive insights that can add value to the business, build team capabilities, increase engagement and make sure the right development plan for each of the team members.

Support OU leadership, CFO and Planning, Competitive Analysis & Insights (PCAI) lead on ad hoc requests

Knowledge & Experience

>10 years of leadership experience in senior planning rolesExtensive leadership and management experience, with ability to work in a diverse cultural environment as a highly efficient communicator and influencer at all levelsPeople manage experience and skills
