As Senior Director of Inside Plant Operations at Spectrum, you will guide a high-performing team, oversee critical plant operations, and drive operational excellence in alignment with company goals. How You’ll Make an Impact 

Develop an effective Inside Plant Leadership team and assist them with developing their direct reports as to drive a high-performance culture and environmentLead a structured and disciplined work team to produce exceptional results delivering the customer experienceOversee designated inside plant operations which include facilities & electronics, powering, cooling, cabling, FCC Compliance and provide direct hands-on support for other Technology Operations teams for all Headends and HubsProvide engineering operational support and direction for new or existing technologies and current operational initiativesEvaluate and consult with all levels of leadership regarding technical operations, strategic planning, Construction, Systems techs and Technology OperationsDirect quality control programs for engineering operations and consistent operational proceduresEnsure current procedures and tests are performed in accordance with Spectrum Policy and Federal Communication Commission StandardsOversee and ensure the maintenance of records as required by Spectrum Policy, Federal Communications Commission and other government agenciesEnsure adherence to company TQA policiesDirect capital budget process for ISP within Region, execute approved budget planLead and participate in succession planning

Education       

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience     

10+ years of engineering experience10+ years of management experience8+ years of project management experience

Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional mannerAdvanced knowledge of company products and servicesAdvanced Knowledge of HFCAbility to handle multiple projects and tasks, make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure, and supervise and motivate othersAbility to use personal computer and software applicationsExtensive knowledge of all FCC compliance reports and other rules and regulationsComprehensive understanding of applicable local and state rules and regulationsComprehensive understanding of OSHA rules and regulations, both federal and stateComprehensive understanding of HVAC and power distribution systemsKnowledge of Analog Transmission Line Theory, Electronic theory, Fiber Optic theory, Federal Communications Commission regulations, and National Electric Code and National Electric Safety CodeOrganized and able to manage multiple initiativesMust lead by example / mentorProven leader with progressive responsibility
