o the in-depth understanding of the consumers, the customers and competition and the development and implementation of marketing strategies and marketing plans for the brands both long term and short-term;Ensure these strategies and plans are aligned with the Bottlers and supported within the Franchise & OUDevelop a strong and effective relationship with the bottlers to ensure proper alignment on the strategies and the plans and proper execution for a continued growth within the market

 

This role has to develop and implement plans to achieve Revenue, Market share (Volume and Value) targets by brand pack & Channel (MT & GT) in the region and ensure complete compliance with set objectives while enhancing system profitability. Design, develop and implement OBPPC plans– merchandising, brand / pack drives, channel activation and promotions, key account acquisition and incentive schemes for the Bottler sales team, on a month to month basis, as the means to achieve the month and annual Revenue & Volume Plan. 

This role is responsible for securing commitments from the bottlers for market investments including Operational Marketing Expenses (OME) and Sales Generating Assets (SGA).  Also, secure bottler commitments for investments required to develop Customers and Channels as per BP objectives. Plan and monitor market investment spends on a continuous basis against approved budget. Ensure the most effective and optimal allocation of resources to deliver the objectives.

The role holder has to develop need-based financial plans and to reconcile these with market needs and expected volume accomplishments into a formal annual business protocols budget.  Monitor operating and marketing expenditures against approved initiatives for the region within quarterly and annual budgets and deliver NSR targets. Ensure bottler commitments and timely contributions to common pool budgets.

 

 

Work Focus

As a Business Leader, the incumbent has to manage the daily operational interface between The Coca-Cola Company and the bottling partner in the region. To lead a team of Franchise Operations Managers, Key Account Manager to oversee all operational aspects of the operations from a General Management perspective through proactively collaborating with the bottler leadership and functional verticals within the BU.  The incumbent needs to have a good grasp of bottler P&L. Influence the Bottlers to invest in right CDE, OYAs & Chilling Media in Rural & Urban markets. Define and influence bottler investments in plant infrastructure, bottling lines/ supply chain infrastructure, cold drink equipment, systems and human resources. Bring to life innovation on packaging, supply chain and value creating initiatives.

This role will involve both strategic and operational engagement with Bottling Owners and their Leadership teams across Sales, Finance, Supply chain, HR, IT, PAC and end to end business operations.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Relevant Experience Required: 12-15 years in FMCG industry; ideally with P&L responsibility and a proven track record of accomplishments. Work experience in MNC or in international markets preferred. Experience working with Coca-Cola bottling organization would be an added advantage
