Job Description

As the Senior Director, Executive Communications, you will be responsible for developing and executing thoughtful communication approaches and strategies to drive effective internal and external communication for the Regional President of Visa Asia Pacific. You will advise and execute communications plans that will deliver impact to the broader organization and drive increased engagement. You will also advise and execute external communications to drive greater awareness of Visa across all stakeholder segments, clients, consumers, partners and regulators.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who has worked in a high-growth organization with extensive experience in product communications, media relations, executive visibility and content creation. Direct experience working in-house in a global communications function is required. This individual must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the intellectual curiosity to continue building knowledge of Visa’s products and the payment industry.

You will be responsible for:

Partnering to deliver clear, compelling, and consistent communications for internal and external audiences, including speeches, presentations, memos, announcements, blogs, social media posts, and other formats.Developing and implementing communication plans and campaigns that align with the executives' vision, goals, and priorities.Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination of messages and initiatives.Managing and overseeing the production and distribution of communication materials, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness.Measuring and evaluating the effectiveness and impact of communication activities and providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.Continuous learning of Visa’s business and products across business units.Staying abreast of industry trends and news, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

At least 15 years of experience in communication or related field, preferably in product marketing or leadership communication role.Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences, channels, and formats.Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and concise communication.Intellectual curiosity and passion for continuous learning and building deep knowledge of the business, market and products.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and diverse teams.High level of creativity, innovation, and initiative, with the ability to generate new and fresh ideas.Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and other communication tools and platforms.Experience coaching senior executivesUnderstanding of how to use data and research to drive effort and for measurement of the impact of communications initiatives.Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiativeSelf-starter approach to work, organizational skills and strong problem solverExcellent persuasive written and verbal communications skills, including interpersonal and presentation skills.
