As Senior Director, you will lead a team of professionals with deep expertise in advancing CIBC’s culture and developing, implementing, and governing our enterprise change management framework, tools, and resources. You will partner with leaders across CIBC to translate business needs into integrated culture and change management solutions, ensuring our shared vision, core values, and behaviours are reflected in daily practices. Through strategic advice and proactive support, you will help leaders and employees navigate change, fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative environment. You’ll use your expertise to provide value-added counsel in all areas of culture and change management, including performance measurement, stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, and talent development. The role requires a high degree of independent judgement and collaboration with executive leadership, project teams, and change practitioners. _At CIBC, we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement, spending 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How you’ll succeed** + **Culture Leadership** : Develop and sustain a positive, high-performance culture, including our shared vision, core values, and behaviours. Monitor market trends and insights to differentiate CIBC’s culture, supporting talent attraction, engagement, and retention. Lead cyclical reviews of the CIBC culture framework to ensure alignment with our Purpose, Employee Value Proposition, and Leadership Capabilities. Collaborate with partners across the bank to activate culture through programs and initiatives aligned to employee journeys. Use data-driven analytics to measure the health of our culture and the effectiveness of our tactics; proactively address areas of opportunity and sustain strengths. Ensure CIBC’s culture complies with regulatory requirements in all regions and communities. + **Enterprise Change Management:** Develop and implement a consistent framework, methodology, and tools for managing people change across strategic objectives and transformation initiatives. Foster a community of practice among change practitioners, building capability and ensuring alignment with the enterprise framework. Provide strategic advice to transformational projects with significant people impacts, ensuring successful and sustained change management. Evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives on culture and employee engagement; identify risks and issues and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Collaborate with executive leadership and project teams to align change strategies with strategic objectives and secure sponsorship. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of change management practices to ensure successful adoption of new tools, processes, and technologies.
