**What you’ll be doing**
As the Senior Director, Design & Change PBB Agility reporting directly to the Head, Personal and Business Banking (PBB) Strategy Management & Modernization you will drive the design and deployment of CIBC’s end-to-end operating model within PBB, ensuring integration and consistency across organizational structure, processes, and enablers. The Sr. Director leads cross-functional teams through all phases of operating model design, from concept to execution and post-launch sustainment, leveraging industry best practices and facilitating effective change management. Building strong partnerships with Business, Technology, HR, Finance, and other key stakeholders, the Lead will align operating model solutions with strategic objectives and enable swift, smooth deployment. Championing continuous improvement, you will gather feedback, monitor effectiveness, and iterate on design solutions to meet evolving business needs and priorities. As a trusted advisor and agile advocate, the Sr. Director will provide visionary leadership, expert consultation, and effective communication strategies to support successful adoption and transformation within PBB.

**How you’ll succeed**
+ **End to End (E2E) operating model design & deployment** – Create and customize design solutions (e.g., structures, processes adoption) for specific business units, ensuring relevance and effective adoption. Drive the end-to-end design and deployment process for prioritized, assigned enablers and processes, ensuring solutions meet strategic objectives and support the successful rollout of the E2E Operating Model. Facilitate and lead design reviews, and progress updates on scaling the E2E Op Model. Identify and resolve design exceptions and bottlenecks, escalating issues as needed to PBB Domain Leads, Functional Leaders and partners. In support to the CSMO Lead, support developing and implementing an integrated change communications plan (in collaboration with other parties and other stakeholders (e.g., HR, comms)) to articulate the vision, goals, and benefits of the E2E operating model, as well as respective comprehensive plan and process for deployment.
+ **Change management -** Oversee the transition from design to launch, providing hands-on support and guidance to domain leaders and teams during implementation and post go-live embedment. Collect feedback, monitor effectiveness, and iterate on design solutions to drive ongoing improvement and sustainability of the model. For respectively prioritized and assigned scope, conduct stakeholder analyses to identify needs, concerns, and readiness levels, tailoring communication and change approaches accordingly. Develop and execute change management strategies, plans, and activities to support the E2E operative model adoption.
+ **Stakeholder engagement and leadership -** Bring together leaders and teams across Business, Technology, HR, Finance, and other critical functions, ensuring we are aligned on priorities, requirements, and key design decisions that drive our enterprise forward. Empower and coordinate the cross-functional experts, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability so we consistently deliver on our strategic objectives and design milestones. As a strategic problem-solver, acting as part of a dedicated swat team to accelerate the design and deployment of our end-to-end operating model, ensuring we deliver results where they matter most.
**Who you are**
+ **You can demonstrate 15 to 20 years of work experience** and proven success leading the design, customization, and deployment of operating models (including structures, processes, and enablers) across multiple business units or functions, ensuring integration, effective adoption, and alignment with strategic objectives within large organizations.
+ **You can demonstrate 15 to 20 years of work experience** in developing and executing comprehensive change management strategies for large-scale transformations, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, hands-on implementation support, and post-launch sustainment to drive adoption and continuous improvement.
+ **You have a track record of building strong partnerships and driving consensus among senior leaders** and teams across Business, Technology, HR, Finance, and other key functions, empowering cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability, and navigating complex stakeholder environments to achieve enterprise-wide outcomes.
+ **Proven experience leading complex design and change initiatives** in large organizations, ideally within transformation and/or operating model contexts. Understanding of and experience with modern operating models lead diverse teams and drive cross-functional collaboration, Ability to quickly acquire domain-specific business knowledge and integrate it into design solutions.
+ **You can demonstrate strong experience** to effectively navigate and collaborate within a complex matrix organization, fostering alignment and driving cross-functional initiatives to achieve strategic priorities.
+ **You can demonstrate thorough understanding of the financial industry** , including financial services practices, principles, and regulatory frameworks. Ability to analyze and interpret complex concepts and apply them in innovative and practical ways across all levels of the organization.
