Senior Director, Cost Management PDS (Thailand)

What this job involves: As a Director, QS in Project & Development Services, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a high-performing Quantity Surveying team. You will drive new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and ensure the team's delivery of quality projects within specified timelines and budgets. Your expertise in cost advisory work and collaboration across JLL teams will be essential. As a leader, you will mentor and guide your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. What your day-to-day will look like:
Provide expert quantity surveying consultancy services for high-value projects from inception to completion.
Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring they are appropriately trained and supervised.
Evaluate contract and subcontract works, and manage contract administration with clients and vendors.
Deputize for and support the Director in the management and development of the office.
Drive staff suggestions and feedback on current practices for continuous improvement.
Manage the procurement process via JLL's cloud-based platform, including vendor onboarding and pre-qualification.
Maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems, and prepare tender documents for project bids.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 15 years of experience, including at least 3 years at Associate Director or Director level.
Strong experience in various sectors such as residential, education, manufacturing, commercial, industrial, and healthcare.
Proven success in business development and client relationship management. We choose to take the more inspiring, innovative, and optimistic path on our journey toward success.
In-depth knowledge of the regional market and strong industry connections.
Conversant in estimating, pre-contract cost control, pre-contract documentation, tendering procedures, post contract procedures, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technologically savvy.

Preferred Qualifications:
ARICS / AAIQS / SISV qualifications preferred.
Relevant experience in a QS Consultancy firm will be advantageous.
Experience in the pre-construction as well as the construction phase projects
You should have a great sense of urgency when it comes to solving problems, improving products or services, finding new markets, and implementing new strategies
You are resilient and can deal effectively with competing priorities and tight deadlines. We embrace more innovative ways of working and prioritize opportunities to strengthen and advance your career.
You should know how to negotiate to generate risk-assessed solutions, and how to handle ambiguities.
