The Senior Director is accountable for defining and leading the enterprise-wide vision, standards, and capability strategy for the Agile Coach craft, and as functional reporting home for the Agile Coaches. The role ensures consistent, high-quality agile coaching across Domains; drives strategic workforce planning; develops strong Chapter leadership; and embeds agile principles, leadership behaviours, and performance enablement practices aligned to CIBC’s E2E operating model. This role balances enterprise standardization with Domain flexibility, ensuring Agile Coaches operate with clarity of expectations, consistent methodologies, and measurable impact on business and client outcomes. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How** **y** **ou’ll** **s** **ucceed** + **Business Management -** Define,maintain, and continuously evolve enterprise standards for the Agile Coach craft, ensuring alignment to the E2E operating model and transformation roadmap.Ensure consistency of agile tooling, ceremonies, frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), OKR guidance, QBR facilitation, and performance metrics.Embed the E2E operating model at scale by reinforcing role clarity, leadership expectations, and agile ways of working across Crews and Squads.Establish governance mechanisms tomonitorcoaching quality, maturity progression, and alignment to enterprise standards.Take a CIBC-wide view to identify systemic impediments and recommend operating model improvements in partnership with Domain and COE leaders. + **Team Management -** Build and lead a high-performingteam, ensuring strong development pathways from novice to mastery aligned to the progression model. Coach anddevelop leaders, strengthening their capability in performance management, talent development, and culture building. Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth mindset, psychological safety, and servant leadership across the Agile Coach community. Establish structured capability uplift programs (training, communities of practice, mentoring, peer coaching) to elevate craft excellenceenterprise wide. Develop future enterprise leaders by strengthening leadershipbehaviours, influence skills, and business acumen within the coaching population.Determineand execute the strategic workforce and capability plan (capacity, skill mix, leveling, succession, recruitment).
