ResponsibilitiesAscension, one of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in the U.S., is seeking a Senior Digital Product Analytics Associate to drive data-informed decision-making for our digital product portfolio within the Growth Marketing & Digital Experience (GMDx) team. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end analytics capabilities for a digital product portfolio within GMDx, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product design, roadmaps, and outcomes. Your work will directly impact Ascension’s mission of improving health and access to care for individuals and communities.
Responsibilities:
Metric Development & Accountability: Define, standardize, and maintain KPIs that align features with business goals. Partner with product, design, and engineering teams while holding them accountable for meaningful, measurable, and consistently tracked metrics.Data Analysis & Insights: Ask critical, high-value questions and uncover actionable insights from complex datasets. Translate findings into clear narratives that connect trends to business outcomes, answering the “So what?” and “Why does this matter?”Influence and Data-Driven Input: Partner closely with product teams to shape roadmaps and feature development through the lens of data.Effective Communication: Craft clear and concise findings from complex data for diverse audiences via emails, dashboards, slide decks, and documentation. Proactively drive alignment and understanding through templates and communication frameworks. Translate complex findings into clear and actionable narrativesData Visualization: Develop and maintain tailored dashboards and reports to meet stakeholder needs. Establish consistent reporting standards and improve dashboard development processes.Statistical & Impact Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analyses and ROI studies to measure product and feature impact. Standardize frameworks for evaluating value across the portfolio.Forecasting & Predictive Analytics: Build predictive models for key metrics like patient acquisition and appointment scheduling. Communicate results effectively to stakeholders.Data Governance: Contribute to data quality, governance, and cataloging initiatives. Ensure discoverability, consistency, and compliance by enriching datasets with metadata and resolving quality issues.Roadmap & Workflow Management: Manage individual work backlog and align analytics efforts with cross-functional roadmaps. Manage capacity, prioritize tasks, and set expectations on deliverables.Data Transformation: Identify and prepare data sources for analysis, performing necessary extraction, transformation, and loading tasks to enable efficient workflows.Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years in digital product analytics or related roles.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Looker), SQL, Python/R, and statistical methods (e.g., t-tests, ANOVA, regression, time series).Data Expertise: Skilled in handling missing values, outlier management, aggregations, complex joins, and automating repetitive data tasks.Experimentation: Expertise in designing and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests, including statistical power calculations.Causal Inference: Experience going beyond simple experiments and applying quasi-experimental methods (e.g., difference-in-differences, propensity score matching, synthetic controls).Business Acumen: Familiarity with customer lifetime value, acquisition cost, market share growth, and financial models like NPV and DCF.Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.RequirementsEducation:
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.Work Experience:
