Senior Digital Marketing Content Manager I

As a Senior Digital Marketing Content Manager I, you'll apply a deep understanding of all platforms and consumer behavior, and pro-actively look for new and innovative ways to leverage those insights and possibilities. We are looking for: - a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience - someone with a passion for creation, digital marketing, and managing projects What is the work? Communications / Design & Development: - Applies a deep understanding of H-E-B business and how to engage other parts of the business to working with different stakeholders / teams to serve customers - Writes / edits content for digital marketing campaigns, including websites, emails, social media, display banners, streaming radio, video scripts, etc. - Concepts creative for campaigns with team; generates ideas for photos, videos, other digital assets; manages creative process with team from ideas to reality - Monitors H-E-B's social media presence, sifts for insights and trends and creates actionable ideas from what customers are saying online - Reviews / approves submitted content for accuracy, completeness, and correctness - Establishes / ensures consistent voice and grammatical standards for each brand and campaign (e.g., H-E-B, Primo Picks) - Works with H-E-B Partners and business units to proactively solicit details needed to create content that delivers on business goals; translates concepts and strategies into engaging copy that conveys brand tone and encourages customers to take desired actions - Analyzes website, email, media metrics for content effectiveness; adjusts content to improve on business goals - Maintains / shares knowledge of social / digital platforms through insights, immersion, regular interaction to create customer-first, channel-tailored content - Ensures continuous digital innovation aimed at establishing H-E-B as a leader in digital marketing - Creates and assigns content to online editors and freelance writers that appeals to digital audience with the goal of driving traffic to digital channels - Builds and maintains relationships with business units, third-party vendors, and agencies to reach business objectives for digital promotions Strategy: - Builds / leads content management strategy and workflow - Ideates new robust campaigns / programs; executes outside standard pod work to position H-E-B as a leader in the digital space - Executes / manages relationships for bring on new vendors and partners; evaluates potential to bring on new technologies that help drive business (includes contracting, understanding ROI, recommending a way forward) - Partners with designers, account managers, and business units to maximize message impact through design and marketing concepts - Manages contracting and invoicing with partnerships / sponsorships / vendors - Monitors competitive initiatives; stays current on digital marketing innovations; identifies opportunities for H-E-B What is your background? - Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, digital marketing, a related field, or comparable experience - 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, editing, journalism, or related work - Experience in ad brand copywriting - Experience in content management systems (CMS) Do you have what it takes to be a fit as a Sr Digital Mktg Content Manager at H-E-B? - Advanced working knowledge of search engine optimization strategies, content management systems (CMS), HTML, and all digital platforms as storytelling vehicles and advertising capabilities - Advanced relationship-building skills - Advanced verbal / written business communication skills - Strong time- / project management skills - Strong PC skills, including MS Office - Ability to interact with customers and clearly present concepts - Ability to evaluate and concept digital marketing solutions in the evolving landscape of digital media, including social, mobile, video, etc. Can you... - Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment - Travel by car or plane with overnight stays - Work extended hours 02-2021
