Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Digital Architect (Enterprise Apps Front End Architect) to join Informatics &Connected Worksite -CAT IT Division.

The incumbent would lead architectural decisions, mentor teams, and drive the development of modern, responsive, and secure web applications.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Chennai , Brigade WTC

What you will do

Role: Frontend Architect

Experience: 12+ years in frontend application development, with a strong track record of delivering scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Frontend Architect who thrives in an agile environment and brings a builder’s mindset, strong design sensibility, and deep technical expertise. You will lead architectural decisions, mentor teams, and drive the development of modern, responsive, and secure web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional discussions to align on product and technology strategy.Define and uphold high standards for software quality, performance, and maintainability.Architect and implement scalable frontend solutions using modern frameworks and tools.Develop proof-of-concepts and evaluate emerging technologies to guide technical direction.Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver cohesive digital experiences.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.Drive continuous improvement in development practices, tooling, and automation.Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.Contribute to hiring and onboarding of senior engineering talent.Foster a culture of innovation, craftsmanship, and knowledge sharing.

Leadership & Strategic Impact

Act as a domain expert and advisor to product and engineering leadership.Align architecture across business units and influence long-term technology vision.Support strategic hiring and coach senior engineers in their growth journey.Stay current with industry trends and bring innovative ideas to the table. 

What you will have 

Expertise in React, Angular, or Next.js (App Router).Expert Javascript Knowledge to be able to debug complex issues and guide team.Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, ES6, and Web Components.Deep understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, and interaction design principles.Experience with SSR/CSR rendering strategies and modern frontend tooling (bundlers, linters, etc.).Solid grasp of TDD/BDD practices using frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, or Vitest.Familiarity with web security best practices and OWASP guidelines.Responsive design and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS).Experience with E2E testing tools like Cypress or Playwright.Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, ECS, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).Basic Knowledge of Docker and Containerzation.State management using Redux, NgRx, or Redux Toolkit.Performance profiling and optimization techniques.

Good-to-Have Technical Skills

Accessibility standards (WCAG).Advanced cloud monitoring and debugging.CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

Additional Information:

This position requires the selected candidate to work Full -Time in the Whitefield Bangalore, Karnataka office.This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the officeDomestic Relocation is availableLess than 10% travel is expected
