Position Purpose

The Sr. Analyst, Digital Analytics be responsible for managing digital data collection from beginning (goal of Application/Feature) to end (reporting of Application/Feature) to provide an accurate and trustworthy digital data foundation and data literacy to enable all reporting and insight needs.

This individual will be a product owner for GPC’s Digital data strategy and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and support digital analytics tagging and data enablement from beginning to end. The role will collaborate closely with technical and non-technical roles such as Analysts, Product Managers, Engineering, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide tech specs, development/configuration, testing, implementation, and necessary support to develop and manage digital analytics data, tooling and reporting infrastructure in support of digital analytics measurement and reporting strategy.

This position will be part of a fast-paced team and environment, that is leading the digital transformation for a 100+ year old brand in the Automotive Retail space. This role will be part of the global digital analytics center of excellence (COE) at GPC.

Responsibilities

Work with data analysts to create tagging strategy and build tech specs

Participates in reviews with analytics, engineering and product teams to create solution designs and technical requirements for analytics

Work with application developers to resolve any technical challenges and provide solutions that ensure data collection and accuracy

Leverage Adobe Launch to maintain, code and implement tags for product features.

Collaborate with data analysts, product managers, UX designers, developers & QA to ensure proper implementation of Adobe Analytics/Adobe CJA

Analyze performance impact, dependencies and best practice to create tagging strategy for web & mobile apps

Ensure data consistency across all digital properties

Troubleshoot any issues related to data collection, fix and/or provide solutions. QA any changes made and test during production launches across all browsers & mobile apps using debugger tools

Implement best practices, naming conventions to maintain properties/tags/libraries etc. in Adobe Launch and establish a process for publishing libraries

Proactively updates extensions, clean up and maintain code in the tag manager

Create monitoring dashboards to proactively identify issues with tagging

Build relationships with Engineering, Product, and Analytics to ensure data and analytics are always included as part of any feature release

Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications & Experiences

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., business analytics, data science, mathematics, computer science, etc.) or equivalent experience

2+ (4 years is ideal) years of related experience

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and hands-on implementation & troubleshooting

Hands on experience with one or more Digital Analytics Platforms (Adobe, GA, Amplitude, etc.). Adobe Analytics implementation/Adobe CJA migration is highly experience desired.

Hands-on experience with tag managers, data layer design, implementation, and testing

Self-motivated, self-starter, with strong communication and stakeholder management

Adobe certification preferred
