Senior Digital Analyst

Job Description:

The Senior Digital Analyst will play a strategic role within the Digital Commerce team, leading efforts to design, implement, and optimize data collection across Cambria’s digital ecosystem. This role will champion tagging frameworks and guide campaign attribution strategy. The Senior Digital Analyst will partner closely with analysts, marketers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity and empower decision-making. They will also serve as product owner for BigQuery projects, contribute to the evolution of Cambria’s digital measurement strategy, and deliver actionable insights that directly impact marketing and sales initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Implementation: Lead deployment of new tags, triggers and variables across Cambria web properties, ensuring scalable and future-proof implementations as digital experiences evolve

Campaign Attribution: Own the design and advancement of campaign attribution strategies, including server-side tagging, data-layer enhancements, and evolution from first/last touch to multi-touch attribution models. Provide guidance to marketing and media teams on best practices for measuring effectiveness.

Maintenance/Auditing/Debugging: Oversee governance of Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers and related configurations. Proactively identify data gaps, troubleshoot complex tracking issues, and implement scalable solutions to maintain accuracy and reliability across platforms.

Compliance and Privacy: Champion compliance with data privacy standards such as GDPR, CCPA, and evolving consumer privacy regulations

Documentation & Training: Establish and maintain documentation standards for digital data collection. Mentor junior analysts and train cross-functional teams on how to use data for actionable insights.

Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Lead analysis of digital experiences using segmentation, pathing, conversion funnel optimization, and behavioral data to inform strategy and improve user experience

Data Collection: Design and manage pipelines for collecting and transforming digital data into structured formats for analysis and visualization. Collaborate with data engineering to optimize data flow into warehouse solutions like BigQuery.

Ownership: Serve as subject matter expert and strategic owner for GTM, GA4, and BigQuery initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

Demonstrated expertise in digital data collection, campaign attribution, and behavioral analytics utilizing GTM, GA4 and/or paid media platforms

Proven ability to architect and deploy tagging strategies in a tag manager environment

Strong collaboration with development teams (experience with AEM a plus)

Experience leading A/B testing and experimentation frameworks

Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions such as Google BigQuery

Experience in SQL or Python for analysis

Ability to influence and drive strategy in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Ensure implementations comply with data protections standards such as GDPR, CCPA and user privacy standards

Document changes to data collection that impact analysis and train others on how to use data in analysis

 Act as subject matter expert for GTM, GA4 and BigQuery

Minimum Requirements

Education: BA/BS Degree in related field required

Experience: 6-8 years experience with digital analytics tools, including Google Tag Manager and GA4

Systems: Experience with GTM and GA4, GA360 a plus

Physical Requirements: Hybrid office position. Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally / sparingly (office supplies, packages, samples). May need to bend, reach, walk, or stoop occasionally. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Travel Requirements: Less than 5% travel within the United States

Cambria’s starting salary for this position is $78,000 - $90,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
