As a security engineer at PwC you will design, implement, and maintain security systems to protect an organisation's digital assets. You will analyse potential vulnerabilities, develop strategies to mitigate risks, and confirm compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, you will conduct security audits and provide recommendations for enhancing the overall security posture.

The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

As part of the Cybersecurity team you will embed security into every stage of the software development lifecycle and cloud infrastructure management. As a Senior Associate, you will lead initiatives in cloud security management, maintaining governance across multi-cloud environments while educating and influencing teams on security standards. This role provides an exciting opportunity to shape security strategies and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

What You Must Have

- Bachelor's Degree

- 3 years of experience

- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and C#

- Managing Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms

- Possessing experience in Linux/Windows administration

- Understanding cloud security and automation practices

- Embedding security in software development lifecycle

- Maintaining governance across multi-cloud environments
