Job Description:
Supports and maintains secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures within the Azure environment. Assists in implementing solutions and road maps to keep cloud infrastructure aligned with business and IT strategies. Provides operational support for workloads running in Azure, ensuring adherence to best practices for performance, security, and cost optimization. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to review and improve cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business goals. Implements automation, security controls, and monitoring solutions to enhance operational efficiency and maintain compliance. Delivers technical support and guidance in Azure technologies to ensure stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of the environment.

• Support day-to-day DevOps operations and maintenance activities for assigned projects, including communicating updates and requirements to clients and team members.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Support infrastructure automation with PowerShell and Bicep.
• Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver cloud solutions, provide technical support, and assist in troubleshooting issues.
• Support the implementation and upkeep of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud environments in Azure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Administer Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Apply and maintain security controls in Azure, including Azure Security Center, role-based access control (RBAC), Azure AD, and data protection strategies.
• Provide support for workload migrations to Azure using Azure Migrate, assisting with rehosting, refactoring, or rearchitecting as needed.
• Monitor and maintain cloud performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and LogicMonitor, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
• Configure and support Azure networking components (VNETs, VPN gateways, load balancers, DNS) while helping optimize network security with Azure Firewall and Application Gateway.
• Support disaster recovery and backup solutions using Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and Azure Backup, helping ensure business continuity.

Skills and Abilities:
• Proven expertise in cloud infrastructure, security, and networking within Azure.
• Deep understanding of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and identity management.
• Experience with cloud migration strategies, including Azure Migrate and the 6 R’s of migration (Rehost, Refactor, Rearchitect, Rebuild, Replace, Retire).
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and LogicMonitor
• Strong knowledge of Azure security frameworks, governance, and compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are preferred
