Job Description Overview: Viking Cruise Lines is seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Consultant Engineer to lead strategic cloud transformation initiatives. This hybrid role is based in Woodland Hills, CA and is tailored for a technology leader with deep expertise in cloud migration, CI/CD, test automation, and DevSecOps practices. The consultant will work closely with executive leadership to assess, design, and implement scalable cloud-native solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a strategic consultant to drive execution of cloud environment improvements and digital transformation initiatives. Lead the re-platforming of legacy systems to scalable, cloud-native microservices architectures. Design and implement enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and reduce regression cycles. Introduce and scale test automation frameworks to improve quality assurance and accelerate release cycles. Apply AI-driven insights to quantify test coverage and optimize release decisions. Champion DevSecOps practices by integrating automated vulnerability scanning tools such as Veracode into secure delivery pipelines. Mentor and guide onshore and offshore engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership and innovation. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic goals. Drive cost optimization through modern staffing models and offshore integration.
