Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior DevOps & Cloud Engineer in Irving, TX. Key Tasks: * Design, develop, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions, with a focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform * Work on full lifecycle of cloud development, DevOps, engineering, and support, driving architecture, implementation, documentation, and operational excellence * Establish and implement cloud architecture best practices to optimize performance, cost, and security - primarily in AWS, while enabling integrations with Azure and Google Cloud Platform * Conduct regular audits and assessments of cloud environments to identify improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards * Mentor and provide technical guidance to developers and cloud engineers, emphasizing secure networking and application/cloud security best practices * Foster an automation-first culture, leading initiatives to automate provisioning, deployment, configuration management, and monitoring * Evaluate and adopt new cloud technologies and tools in driving innovation and maintain awareness of industry trends * Lead incident response and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment * Communicate effectively with stakeholders to capture requirements, provide updates, and deliver clear technical solutions * Ensure robust implementation, monitoring, and logging via tools such as New Relic, Logz, Loki, ELK stack, Prometheus, and Grafana, etc. * Apply technical breadth across software engineering, system integration, cloud platform expertise, enterprise and event-driven architecture * Practice SAFe Agile methodologies throughout design, development, testing, deployment, and support phases
