Senior DevOps/AWS Cloud Engineer

What You'll Do:

Lead and support teams in infrastructure modernization initiatives, including cloud migrations. Design and implement scalable, robust cloud infrastructure solutions. Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation processes. Architect and maintain container orchestration platforms (OpenShift & Kubernetes). Drive infrastructure-as-code adoption using Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK . Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment workflows. Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions. Advocate and enforce security best practices across our cloud infrastructure.

 

Core Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize the Jenkins platform, including access control and pipeline automation. Ensure high availability of critical infrastructure and application environments. Partner with development teams to guarantee smooth deployments and environment consistency . Lead incident response efforts and provide technical guidance during critical situations. Optimize cost and performance across AWS infrastructure. Mentor team members on cloud best practices and DevOps principles.

 

Technical Skills We're Looking For

Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, EKS…) . Familiarity with additional AWS components (API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, EMR) is a plus. Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation . Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Skilled in scripting languages such as Python and Bash. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible. Knowledge of monitoring tools including Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Nagios. Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.

Required Experience:

5+ years of systems engineering experience 4+ years working with AWS cloud platform 4+ years applying DevOps practices and tools 2+ years of container orchestration experience 4+ years proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash)

 

What Makes You Stand Out

Experience with microservices architectures. Knowledge of database administration (MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle). Familiarity with API Gateway, SQS, and DynamoDB. AWS certifications.. Proven experience mentoring engineers. Experience working with Windows-based application architectures.
