How you'll add value

We’re looking for a DevOps & Automation expert to lead the design and execution of our AI-integrated, fully automated, open-source-first delivery pipeline — spanning legacy (on-prem) and greenfield (AWS cloud) platforms. This role is perfect for someone who can architect scalable CI/CD, automate everything, and bring the best of modern tooling to a hybrid enterprise environment and can mentor less experienced engineers. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for someone who loves automating complexity, enabling developer speed, and creating a frictionless engineering experience across the stack.

  Responsibilities Mentor and model what great looks like for less experienced engineers  Build and maintain zero-touch SDLC pipelines from feature branch to production Lead the integration of AI-enhanced workflows: LLMs, GPT, Codeium, AI test bots, observability assistants Own CI/CD orchestration using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, XL Deploy (XLD), and XL Release (XLR) Automate deployments across on-prem (SP 1.0) and AWS (SP 2.0) infrastructure using Terraform and Docker Integrate advanced observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry Implement enterprise-safe, open-source CI/CD tools for scalability and compliance Architect and manage internal API gateways and service mesh (Kong, Gravitee.io) Support self-healing environments and ephemeral test environments at scale   Requirements Expert-level experience with CI/CD design, automation, and pipeline architecture Proven success implementing AI-integrated DevOps workflows Deep understanding of hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + AWS) Track record of delivering self-healing, zero-downtime platforms Strong familiarity with enterprise-safe open-source tooling Bonus: Passion for observability, platform scalability, and empowering dev teams   Benefits A flexible virtual-first work philosophy Generous paid time off  Company paid private health insurance Company paid life and disability insurance Paid leave for illness, birth parents, non-birth parents, elder caregivers, marriage, adoption of a child and bereavement Inclusive and accessible Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to help with everyday challenges Christmas and Easter bonuses Work-from-home allowance Opportunity for strengthening expertise and skills through Paycor’s learning platform, including lessons in English   We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual’s relevant experience, skills, and education.
