You will: - Operate, enhance, and ensure reliability and scalability of a Git-based version control service critical for ABAP Cloud development. - Drive service quality through automated lifecycle management, zero-downtime deployments, backup, recovery, and high availability. - Integrate observability solutions like monitoring, alerting, and logging for proactive operations. - Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and partners to maintain a secure and future-ready development platform. - Contribute to other areas within the team, exploring new topics and technologies as needed, all within an agile and innovative environment **What you bring:** - Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Technology with excellent academic records or equivalent experience - Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language (ideally ABAP OO) - Minimum of 8 years of professional experience. - Experience in at least two of the following: - Git and related tools - Cloud-native backend technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) - Cloud observability - Agile methodologies - Professional software development - Result-driven, quality-focused working style - Passion for coding and teamwork + Commitment to customer success **Meet your team:** SAP BTP ABAP Platform is SAP’s core technology team with 800 experts worldwide.
