Senior Developer, Sourcing Development, Equipment & Packs
**ABOUT THE ROLE** As a Senior Developer in Sourcing Development for Equipment & Packs, you will be responsible for managing production operations and coordinating all activities and projects for assigned product lines—from order placement through to product delivery. Your goal is to satisfy customer needs while achieving business objectives. You will lead factory and merchandising teams in following up on bulk production, planning-related projects, and delivery performance. This includes attending line review meetings, coordinating with sourcing teams to ensure product quality and compliance, and proactively identifying and resolving production and quality issues. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Execute planning and production projects aligned with company strategies and initiatives + Support all aspects of planning, sampling, production, quality, and delivery + Lead factory and merchandising teams in managing bulk production and delivery timelines + Attend line review meetings (virtually if needed) and ensure developed products meet customer expectations + Provide early alerts for potential issues and advise on product improvements + Collaborate with vendors, buyers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow + Work closely with QA, Garment Technicians, and Material Supply teams to resolve quality and production issues + Monitor sourcing and vendor performance in terms of on-time delivery and quality + Be a supportive team player, contributing to efficient and productive daily operations + Demonstrate independence, flexibility, and adaptability to change **REQUIRED COMPETENCIES** + Technical knowledge of outerwear items is an advantage + Strong problem-solving, negotiation, planning, and organizational skills + Detail-oriented with strong communication skills + Proficient in Excel and analytical thinking **ROLE TYPE** + Technical/Professional Individual Contributor + No direct reports **QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE** + Minimum 5 years of relevant experience + Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience + Polytechnic graduate in Merchandising, Clothing, Textile, or related discipline + Professional training in textiles and apparel is preferred + Strong English proficiency (written and oral); Chinese, Cantonese, or Mandarin is a plus R-20250717-0162 VF Diversity Vision Statement VF is committed to creating an inclusive environment that welcomes and values the differences among all of our associates, customers, suppliers and the communities in which we live and conduct business.
