Position Overview

Job DescriptionDesign and build data models based on analytics/reporting requirements and data sources mappings. Using advanced analytics products like OBIEE or similar products, develop programs or code to visualize data and provide insights based on the complex transformation specs and mapping.Troubleshoot and resolve data and reports related issues. Apply advanced problem-solving techniques to troubleshoot system and user issues.Provide 24/7 on-call technical support to internal customers across all departments. Ensure 99.9 % system / Application availability.Produce documentation and facilitate reporting requirements. Track and resolve issues effectively on assigned work.Understand which issues need to be elevated above the implementation team. Provide timely feedback to management in order to avoid unnecessary delays in project schedule.Gather information, make sense of it, problem / issue resolution and solution definition, inclusive of conducting detailed business analyses.Provide level of effort estimates for new project work, enhancements and fixes to manager.Coordinate and support users, system, performance, and regression testing efforts through an internal ticket system.Technical thought leadership supporting Oracle OBIEE Architecture and Report concepts.Coordinate and perform code reviews and unit testing processes. Interface and work closely with ETL management and DBA’s to design and implement shared data architecture.Maintain standardized Oracle OBIEE design, development, testing, and deployment task documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or related field.Five (5) years of Oracle Business Intelligence experience.Total experience must include five (5) years with the following: architect and development experience with OBIEE 11g; using BI Interactive Dashboards, Oracle BI Administration, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Delivers, Oracle BI Publisher; implementing minimum two of the above systems into corporate solutions, including configuration, design and development.
