Job Title: Senior Designer -Plumbing Location: Baltimore, MD Responsibilities: + Under close and frequent supervision, assists engineers by performing the routine aspects of engineering assignments, subsequently providing familiarity with the programs, staff, and operating procedures of the company. + Performs design calculations, sketches, technical comparisons and similar technical work as required by assignment. + Coordinates project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians in his/ her discipline group. Reviews drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommends necessary changes. + Researches code issues and works with city, state, and county officials. Researches design options and documents findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers. + Assists with other duties assigned by Engineers and/or Project Managers. May attend “kick-off” and design review meetings, and interacts with clients as his or her level of experience progresses. + Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: + BSME/BSEE/BSAE from ABET accredited school preferred but not required. + EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) preferred but not required. Physical Requirements: + Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. + Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
