Company OverviewRocksteady is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Designer who is
ready for the challenge of bringing our next AAA title to life.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Designer who thrives
on the creation and refinement of gameplay systems and mechanics. You’ll be a
working closely with leads and stakeholders to ensure features are fun,
balanced, and aligned with the overall game experience. You’ll also help guide
and mentor other designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the design and development of core gameplay systems and mechanics from concept to final implementation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring features to life and ensure they meet design goals.Maintain high-quality design documentation and ensure alignment acrossdisciplines.Drive iteration through playtesting, feedback, and data analysis.Contribute to the overall design vision and help shape the player experience across the game.Along with the Lead Designer, you will help mentor designers, providing feedback and guidance to support their growth.You should be a positive, proactive, and contributing team member, both within the team and across the studio.Requirements

Proven experience designing and shipping gameplay systems in a professional game development environment.Deep understanding of systems design, game balancing, player progression, and engagement.Ability to write clear, structured, and comprehensive design documentation.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.Effective communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoringor leading design efforts.Technical knowledge to debug and troubleshoot Design issues as they arise.Passion for games and a strong sense of what makes gameplay fun and rewarding.

Bonus Points

Experience with UE4/UE5 Blueprints or similar scripting tools.A portfolio showcasing shipped titles or detailed design work.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
