About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer with 9-12 years of specialized expertise in corporate interior design. The ideal candidate will lead design projects from concept to completion, collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional workplace environments that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary client contact throughout the design processConduct client interviews and programming sessions to understand requirements and workplace culturePresent design concepts, material selections, and budget considerationsManage client expectations and provide strategic design solutionsDevelop comprehensive design plans for corporate interior spacesOversee project timelines and ensure all deliverables meet quality standardsCoordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure proper implementation of design visionWork closely with engineering consultants and other specialty consultants as required for the project.Lead internal design teams and mentor junior designersCoordinate with project managers to align design goals with project parametersCommunicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams that include procurement, costing, engineering etcDevelop project budgets and track expenses throughout the design processIdentify cost-effective design solutions without compromising qualityEnsure all designs comply with building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry standardsApply knowledge of workplace strategy and space utilization metricsQualifications
Experience & Education
8 -12 years of experience in interior design, experience in corporate interiors preferredDiploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture/Interior Design or related fieldProfessional certification (NCIDQ, LEED, WELL) is an advantageSoftware Proficiency
Advanced AutoCAD skills for space planning and construction documentationAdobe Photoshop for image editing and presentation graphicsWorking knowledge of SketchUp for 3D modeling and spatial visualizationWorking knowledge of EnscapeSkills
Strong understanding of workplace design trends and corporate environmentsExcellent visual communication and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving abilitiesPersonal Attributes
