Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Senior Design Manager to join our innovative architectural team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a group of talented architects, designers, and specialists while providing expert architectural guidance for our projects.

Provide comprehensive architectural guidance, calculations, and analysis for specialized segments of the Architectural DisciplineManage and mentor various-sized teams of architects, designers, and specialists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environmentDevelop and oversee project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality designsConduct in-depth studies and prepare detailed recommendations for assigned projectsCollaborate with Project Architectural or Engineering Managers on larger, more complex projectsOversee the design and execution of modest-sized projects independentlyEnsure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standardsImplement and maintain quality control processes throughout the design phaseLiaise with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align design solutions with project goals and requirementsStay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in architectural design and project management

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; Master's degree preferredMinimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 5 years in a managerial roleProven track record of successfully managing architects, designers, and specialistsStrong proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD and RevitExtensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide innovative design solutionsDemonstrated experience in project management, including schedule and budget oversightStrong leadership and team-building abilities, with a collaborative and motivational approachExceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas clearlyExperience working on a variety of project types and scales, from modest-sized to large-scale developmentsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentProficiency in calculations, analysis, and technical report writingStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyFamiliarity with sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes is a plusWillingness to adapt to the local architectural context and building practices in Saudi Arabia
