Main responsibilitiesLead the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for selected franchises, coordinating stakeholders across demand, supply, finance, regulatory, and quality to align on one shared business plan.
Partner with Demand Planners and Business Units to ensure accurate, up-to-date forecasts that reflect real market needs, constraints, and opportunities.
Oversee product portfolio changes — including launches, divestments, and sourcing changes — and ensure planning tools and master data remain accurate and current.
Drive performance by monitoring key supply chain metrics (service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory, and write-offs), identifying gaps, and leading action plans to close them.
Orchestrate the Management Business Review, including risk and opportunity tracking, minutes, and follow-up actions to prevent shortages, returns, and write-offs.
Act as the key point of contact for Global Product Leaders and GBU Supply Chain, representing market needs in global product reviews and ensuring seamless two-way communication.
Lead accountability for new product launches and network changes, ensuring flawless, on-time implementation without supply disruption.
About youExperience: 10+ years in Supply Chain, including Demand Planning required, within the pharmaceutical industry
Technical skills: Proficiency in planning systems (SAP and/or Kinaxis preferred); strong analytical and scenario planning capabilities
Soft skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority; strong problem-solving mindset
Education: Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred)
Languages: Native-level Japanese and strong business-level English, both required
