Senior DC (including Mercer Master Trust) Investment Delivery Lead – Nationwide
Mercer is seeking a Senior DC Investment Delivery Lead to support the delegated investment solutions that underpin the Mercer Master Trust and our wider Mercer Workplace Savings (“MWS”) offering. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party providers to meet key investment regulatory, operational, and governance requirements. We will count on you to:
Collaborate with in-house and external fund managers and third-party platform providers to:
Ensure effective implementation of our investment proposition in line with platform requirements
Support the delivery of key investment proposition developments, including transformational projects to evolve our SmartPath™ default investment solution
Manage business-as-usual (BAU) change, including fund launches and other investment-related changes
Ensure compliance with FCA investment regulations across all MWS investment solutions (Mercer Master Trust, GPPs, Own Trust clients)
Contribute to projects ensuring compliance with regulatory changes affecting our delegated DC investment solution (e.g., Value for Members, Consumer Duty requirements, Sustainable Disclosure Regulations)
Assist with commercial calculations and assess the impact of investment change projects
Deliver materials to clients and key internal stakeholders, including internal steering groups, the MWS Investment Governance Committee, and Mercer Master Trust Trustees
What you need to have:
Relevant professional qualifications such as IMC, FIA/FFA, or CFA
Experience in a DC pensions-focused delivery role or similar, working with various providers and consultancies
Strong knowledge of investment products, distribution, and the regulatory environment in the DC pensions market
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
