Kforce is seeking a highly skilled Senior DBA to join our team as a senior-level Database Administrator. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex database systems that support mission-critical applications. You'll lead performance tuning efforts, automate administrative tasks, and collaborate with developers, architects, and IT leadership to enforce best practices and security policies. Key Responsibilities: * Design and maintain relational database structures and schemas * Optimize database performance and automate administrative tasks * Lead efforts in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning * Collaborate with developers, system architects, and IT leadership to enforce best practices and security policies * Mentor junior DBAs and contribute to strategic decisions on database architecture * Analyze and enhance system architecture to improve efficiency * Maintain documentation and ensure system integrity * Provide technical support and training to developers and end users * Act as liaison for outsourced database projects, including RFP development and vendor coordination
