We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the data infrastructure, implementing data governance frameworks, and developing real-time data streaming solutions. This role requires expertise in AWS data streams (CDC), Postgres, Terraform, Git, Python, BigQuery CSW. If you are passionate about data, we would love to hear from you. • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using AWS services with a focus on AWS Data Streams and Change Data Capture (CDC) patterns.
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows to ingest and transform data from PostgreSQL and other sources into BigQuery (using CSW or similar tools).
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to manage cloud resources.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in Python for data transformation, automation, and orchestration.
• Collaborate using Git for version control and code reviews.
• Optimize data storage, transfer, and processing performance for large-scale datasets.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure data quality, observability, and consistency across systems.
• Strong experience with AWS Data Streams (Kinesis) and implementing CDC pipelines.
• Proficient in Python for data engineering and automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience working with BigQuery and CSW (Cloud Storage Writer) or similar data loading tools.
• Solid knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and managing cloud environments.
• Proficient in Git and collaborative development workflows (e.g., pull requests, CI/CD).
• Experience building data pipelines in cloud environments, preferably AWS and GCP.
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time analytics.
• Knowledge of data modeling and best practices in data warehousing.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data systems.
