**Description** **Position Summary** The Sr. Data Scientist will lead the design, implementation, and governance of the organization’s data and AI platforms. This role will establish enterprise-wide standards for data enablement, ensuring that our AI-driven initiatives are built on reliable, scalable, and well-architected foundations. The position requires deep expertise in data science, data engineering, and solution architecture, with the ability to rapidly prototype solutions that bridge the gap between concept and production. **Primary Responsibilities** + Define and drive strategic architecture for AI and data platforms across the enterprise. + Develop and implement data enablement frameworks that ensure accessibility, quality, and governance. + Establish and maintain engineering and architecture standards for data and AI systems. + Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align data capabilities with AI-driven business goals. + Provide architectural oversight for AI agent design, deployment, and lifecycle management. + Lead the creation of prototypes to validate architectural decisions and demonstrate value quickly. + Mentor engineering teams in data architecture best practices, ensuring adherence to governance policies. + Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies relevant to data management, AI, and analytics. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. + Proven experience in solution architecture for data and AI platforms. + Strong background in data science with applied experience in machine learning or AI solutions. + Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL pipelines, data modeling, and integration patterns. + Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype data-driven and AI-enabled solutions. + Experience establishing technical and data governance standards. + Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams. **Preferred Qualifications** + Prior experience as a platform or enterprise architect in AI/data environments. + Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stack tools. + Knowledge of data security, compliance, and privacy regulations. + Experience leading cross-functional teamsin high-impact initiatives.
