The position 

We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join the Enterprise Data Science Group - an outstanding engineer who thrives on: 

Strong SWE fundamentals including infra and DevOps 

Orchestrating ETL/ELTs, data and pipelines 

Considering performance and cost with data at scale 

Deploying and versioning pipelines, ml and ai models and experiments in the cloud 

Ensuring reliability, monitoring, and observability across environments 

Facilitating data, ml, and GenAI (RAG, MCP, agentic) development pipelines, CI/CD, and best cloud practices 

Working with data scientists on ML and GenAI projects to ensure rapid experiment cycles and efficient deploys.

Explore new infra, data, ml, and cloud technologies to incorporate into our constantly evolving tech stack. 

Scope out new projects and create proof of concepts. 

We are a medium-size team (approx. 20 people) where people have great relationships, working collectively and with colleagues abroad to impact a multi-billion dollar business. 

Opportunity to be part of a strong, fun, and collaborative team culture. 

We are looking for: 

5+ years of industry experience in domains such as data platform engineering, data engineering, backend engineering, or similar 

Strong SW fundamentals including infra, devops, microservices, and working with APIs 

A proven track record of deploying data pipelines and models to production. 

Experience with building scheduled data pipelines, Spark, and orchestration 

Experience working with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks), CI/CD, containerization, and GitHub Actions 

Familiar with data, ML, or LLM monitoring and observability tools. 

Experience with GenAI technologies (LLMs, vector DBs and RAG systems, MCPs, agent platforms, etc.) from the perspective of orchestration, architecture, caching, monitoring, and cost optimization. 

Excited about using the latest AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) to build great stuff.
