**Primary Objective of Position:**
The Senior Data Integration Specialist for Spain is responsible for the day-to-day management and successful implementations of Libre data into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in the different regions of Spain.
**Major Accountabilities:**
+ Understand business needs from customers in terms of data integration, translate these needs into technical requirements that meet the capabilities of our interfaces.
+ Travel to customer sites within Spain to conduct project kick-off, planning, technical requirement gathering, project closure meetings, post project support, as necessary.
+ Manage key aspects of assigned projects over the project lifespan (initiation, planning, execution, controlling, and closure), ensuring successful customer acceptance and closure of each project.
+ Closely work and partner with the Data Integration Manager in Spain, EMEA, Global Strategic Marketing, Global Business Development, and Global R&D on feasibility and technical implementation of data integration projects
+ Maintain expert knowledge of cloud-based APIs, JSON and HL7 data formats, OAuth2.0 authentication format as well as any other healthcare and general IT security standards.
+ Develop and provide strategic planning and commercial input to the development of the data integration solutions, understanding the key market drivers, priorities, and growth opportunities.
**Education:**
Master’s degree in computer science or related IT field of study.
**Background - Knowledge & Experience:**
+ Previous experience and track record in negotiating & aligning technical requirements for cloud-based data integration projects
+ Experience in data sharing and integration of cloud-based health data e.g. via API using JSON and HL7 data formats as well as OAuth 2.0 authentication
+ At least 5 years of previous relevant experience, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
+ Experience in working in matrix organizations
+ Knowledge in Health Care or MedTech or Pharma, ideally the Diabetes sector

+ Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment to deliver on communicated timelines and objectives
+ Must be fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.
+ Understanding of the adherence to internal security requirements and applicable Data Protection legislation
+ Ability to travel up to 50% (mostly nationally. Once per quarter, travel to Germany Headquarter as well)
