Senior Data Engineer 

(Location: Poland)

We are seeking a talented professional to join us as a Senior Data Engineer to develop and deliver data insights and solutions through your technical and business expertise.

Responsibilities:  

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and store large volumes of data from various sources.  Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing mechanisms for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.  Design and deploy monitoring systems to proactively identify data pipeline failures and anomalies before they impact business operations Partner closely with the BI team to ensure seamless integration between data pipelines and BI tools, resulting in high-quality, reliable dashboards and optimized data sources that deliver actionable business insights Troubleshoot data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and system failures in production environments.  Implement best practices for knowledge transfer and documentation to achieve internal consistency and long-term scalability  Mentor and support junior analysts by demonstrating best practices and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement  

Minimum Requirements:  

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics or other related field 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering  Proficiency in SQL (any dialect) is required, while familiarity with Python is considered advantageous  Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced and high pressure environmentStrong communications skills and can communicate business concepts and data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively  Excellent attention to detail, exhibiting the highest standards of professional integrity and work ethicFluency in English to collaborate with a global team Experience and comfort working remotely, with the ability to thrive under minimal supervision  

Preferred Qualifications:  

Corporate Real Estate knowledge Familiarity with Databricks  Track record of making business impact by mining and extracting value from large and disconnected datasets
