Job Description

Are you a passionate and skilled Senior Data Engineer ready to shape our global data landscape? Join our dynamic team and empower internal customers worldwide with cutting-edge data solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with data modelers to design, enhance, and operate robust data pipelines across our Azure cloud platform, unlocking the full potential of business data for actionable insights and BI initiatives.

Your tasks:

► Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric (data engineering workloads).

► Manage and evolve our data lake architecture (Azure Data Lake Gen2), ensuring data quality, accessibility, and governance.

► Implement dimensional data models (star/snowflake) for efficient reporting and analytics, with exposure to Data Vault as a plus.

► Transform raw data into high-quality, query-ready datasets using PySpark, dbt, and Databricks SQL.

► Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and scalable data solutions.

► Contribute to generating insights and innovative data products that drive business decision-making.

Qualifications

► 5+ years in data engineering with strong ETL/ELT and Azure cloud experience.

► Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services and Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).

► Strong skills in Python, SQL, dbt, and query optimization, with practical knowledge of data warehousing and lakehouse concepts.

► Familiarity with relational and non-relational data stores.

► Fluent English; degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field. Azure/Databricks certifications are a plus.

► Analytical, quality-focused, and passionate about turning complex data into innovative solutions, with the ability to communicate technical topics clearly.
